The Buckhorn Resort and Restaurant is located in the heart of Michigan's Upper Peninsula overlooking Hovey Lake and just footsteps from miles of ATV & Snowmobile trails. Hovey Lake is beautiful and secluded, offering a variety of activities including fishing, hunting, canoeing & kayaking, and nature observing.

Our resort offers a bar and restaurant, motel, lodeges, and premium ethanol-free gasoline. The bar and restaurant offer lunch and dinner starting at 11:00 daily and a menu featuring burgers, sandwiches, and a variety of dinners. The 20-room motel features three types of rooms and the two large lodges are perfect for families or groups.

Located just 10 miles south of Munising on the paved Buckhorn Road and close to Trail 7. The surrounding area offers outdoor fun and activities no matter what the season. Spring, summer, fall, and winter will find you enjoying the beautiful Hiawatha National Forest and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
